We have shot in Lonavala many times, and it never looks the same twice. The light, the season and, most of all, the couple change everything. For Meet and Prerana we planned the shoot for weeks, then on the day we let it flow.
A cosy start indoors
We began indoors in a room filled with blue balloons and bunting. It was playful and personal, with plenty of laughter. Starting indoors helped the two of them relax in front of the camera before we headed out.
Hilltops and colour smoke
Next we drove up to the open hilltops, where the dry golden grass stretches all the way to the edge of the valley. Prerana in a bright red dress was the perfect contrast to the soft blue hills. A burst of colour smoke added a little drama, and the wind did the rest.
Sunset silhouettes
We ended with the sun low over the Sahyadris, turning the tall grass into a glowing frame for a few silhouettes. It was the perfect, quiet end to a fun day.
