Juhi & Nikhil’s Wedding at Chokar Dhani, Nagpur
When you think of a wedding that feels like a beautiful, rustic getaway, Juhi and Nikhil’s celebration at Chokar Dhani, Nagpur, is exactly what comes to mind. It was two days packed with everything we love about Indian weddings vibrant colors, endless dancing, heartfelt traditions and a whole lot of love.
Day 1: Kicking Things Off with a Bang
The energy was high right from the start! We kicked off the festivities with a combined Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony.
The Vibe: It was all about fun and high-energy performances. Between the intricate henna patterns and the stage buzzing with dance numbers, the air was electric.
The Highlights: Watching Juhi and Nikhil take the stage was a treat their chemistry really set the tone for the night. The venue’s traditional charm, paired with the modern decor and lights, made for some stunning candid shots during the performances.
Day 2: Rituals, Traditions, and "I Do"
The second day shifted gears into a more traditional and emotional space. We started with the Haldi ceremony, followed by the main wedding rituals and the reception.
Haldi Moments: The Haldi was pure joy. Seeing the couple covered in turmeric paste, surrounded by family cheering them on, is always one of our favorite parts to photograph. It’s messy, it’s loud, and it’s genuinely happy.
The Wedding: The ceremony itself was breathtaking. The traditional setup at Chokar Dhani provided a beautiful, authentic backdrop for the pheras. Juhi looked absolutely stunning in her bridal attire and the quiet, intimate looks they shared during the rituals were the highlights of the day.
Reception: To cap it all off, the reception was the perfect way to wind down. With the celebrations finally concluding, everyone took the time to relax, enjoy great food and share in the couple's big moment.
From the high octane dancing on the first night to the serene beauty of the wedding rituals on the second, documenting Juhi and Nikhil’s journey was an absolute pleasure. They made the camera work feel effortless, and their joy was truly infectious.
